As our Senior Account Executive based in Austin, TX you will have the high visibility role of identifying and closing large accounts across our broker, wholesale, traffic, and carrier channels. Our service is easy to understand and sell, but our business model and how we deliver our service to our customers is revolutionary. We are looking for the right person that is both sales savvy as well as analytical and able to grasp complex business models and articulate that value proposition to potential customers.

Our amazing team of extremely talented and successful individuals uses internet marketing to turn consumer interest in insurance products into policy sales for many of the largest insurance carriers (and their agents) in the world. Responsibilities:

  • Work with existing prospects and actively build a robust sales pipeline of large account opportunities based on assigned accounts and/or territories.
  • Responsible for the entire sales cycle including prospecting, cold calling/networking, presenting value propositions, negotiating and executing contracts, and ultimately closing deals.
  • Work with the AWL Account Management team to effect a smooth transition of all signed accounts once they are closed (contracted.) AWL Account management is responsible for ongoing management and optimization of all accounts.
  • Utilize AWL CRM system (SalesForce.com) to track all opportunities, activities, and contacts.
  • Stay abreast of insurance industry trends and changes as they affect AWL’s market and large accounts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales or business development role with direct revenue producing responsibility and a solid track record of success as defined by quota attainment.
  • Experience selling up and down an organization from the executive suite to line management.
  • Experience selling into the marketing function of companies is strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized self-starter.
  • Ability to operate independently as well as in a team environment with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp diverse and complex business models
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written & oral communications and presentations skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a changing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Schedule flexibility and willing to travel when needed.
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree required, ideally in Marketing or Business. An MBA is preferred.
